Kruger National Park

One of the best safaris you will ever experience in South Africa will be at the Kruger National Park. It is common knowledge that the Kruger National Park is the largest game reserve in the whole of South Africa. It is large enough to be the same size as some of the smaller countries in the world and it is about 21,000 square kms in surface area. On the western side of it you will find large privately owned game reserves such as the Sabi Sand. Their border with Kruger National Park is not fenced.

You can experience the once endangered Black Rhinos, as well as the animals that make up the big five that is the lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and the white rhino. Besides being a sanctuary for the Black Rhino they you can also expect to see the Hyena and the African Wild Dog which is also on the endangered list. This national park is the ideal place to accommodate the wild variety of animals that they currently have, which includes over 5000 giraffes.
